Ana Maria is Club Vita's senior statistician. With a career researching and applying statistics in both academia and industry, Ana Maria brings ample experience and she is delighted to be part of this venture and have such a rich database to explore, analyse and model. She liaises with external academic institutions to ensure a high standard of the analyses (and that our work is peer-reviewed).

Ana Maria is a chartered statistician of the Royal Statistical Society. She holds a PhD in Bayesian statistics from the University of Warwick, as well as an MSc in statistics and a First Degree in Actuarial Sciences. Ana Maria’s academic background is complemented by over 9 years of industry experience, which has included applications in marketing research, social policy and the creation of the Official Mexican Life Tables in 2000. She has presented her work in international forums.
